Materials: Pumpkins, spoon, small nail, knife or pumpkin saw

Instructions:

Cut a hole in the top for the lid. Make sure you angle the saw inwards so your lid sits on top of the pumpkin and doesn’t just fall through

Scoop out the seeds and strings with a spoon

Print out the pattern.

Tape it or pin the pattern to the pupkin.

Smooth the pattern onto the pumpkin get the stencil as smooth as possible.

Poke holes through the pattern with a nail like connect the dots for the whole stencil.

Rub flour over the part where you poked the holes so you can see them better.

Push a nail through the pumpkin where you want to start carving and repeat where you know you will need to insert the knife so that you will not have to put too much pressure on the pumpkin when the pieces are small and brittle.

Use a sawing motion to cut out your design, using very light pressure take your time and allow the sawing to do the work for you.

To make cuves slightly turn the saw as cutting. Tom make sharp corners take the saw out rotate it then continue cutting.

Remove the pieces by pushing them out from the inside.

Have fun! Just add a candle and your done!
